Common questions

How do I reset my progress?

Open Equate., tap the settings icon on the home screen, and choose Reset Progress. This clears all mastery tiers, streaks, and trophies and cannot be undone. Deleting and reinstalling the app also resets everything, since no data is stored outside the device.

Does Equate. need an internet connection?

No. The app runs entirely offline. There are no servers to talk to, no accounts to create, and no downloads after the initial install.

Are there ads or in-app purchases?

No. The current version of Equate. is fully free with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no subscriptions.

How does the mastery system work?

Each multiplication table (×2 through ×12) has four mastery tiers: Bronze → Silver → Gold → Mastered. You earn tier-ups by solving spells cleanly (no equation flashed red between cells). Gold and Mastered also require an average solve time under 60 seconds, and Mastered requires Gold-pace solves across three separate calendar days — a built-in spaced-repetition rhythm to keep facts fresh.

Can I play on iPad?

Equate. is iPhone-first in v1. The app will install and run on iPad via iPhone scaling, but a dedicated iPad layout is planned for a future update.

What data does Equate. collect?

None. Equate. does not collect, transmit, or share any data about you or your child. Progress is stored on the device only. For details, see the Privacy Policy.

The app crashed — what should I do?

Equate. uses Apple's on-device MetricKit framework to record crash and hang diagnostics locally (the data never leaves your device). If you've experienced repeated crashes, email equate@gopredictive.com.au with a short description of what you were doing and your device model — we can ask you to share the diagnostic files from iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data.

How do I leave a review?

Open the App Store, search for Equate., scroll down to Ratings & Reviews, and tap Write a Review. Honest feedback — including criticism — is the single most useful thing you can send our way.
